Witnesses to Hunger is a program about the participation and action of the true experts on hunger and poverty - people with first-hand experience. By providing living testimony through photography and their voices, members of Witnesses to Hunger challenge elected officials, the public, and the press to engage with them about issues that impact so many families’ health and well-being. Launched in 2008 as a program of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities at Drexel University’s School of Public Health, Witnesses to Hunger is a platform for families to share their experiences and to be part of a national movement.
Join us as we share this powerful exhibit during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Experience the living testimonies of our dynamic witnesses!
